Newcastle's fleet of busy tugboats have so much character and are the true work horses of the river. Dwarfed by the huge container ships they guide into port, watching them doing their job always evokes a mix of admiration and awe.
 
This one is heading back to base after seeing yet another ship safely into harbour. All in a days work for these little boats.
