Our coastlines are always changing through storms, tides, and human impact. Sand is moved, dunes are eroded, rocks are exposed and covered over. Bar Beach has seen its share of recent changes too.
The inspiration for this painting came on a hot January day when storms and tidal surges seemed a distant memory. The tide was way out, the water clear and inviting and a chain of shallow rock pools were the perfect place to cool off and explore. 
The quintessential summer day at beautiful Bar Beach.
