I'd never painted a cloud scape, and hadn't really been planning to, until inspiration came on a cold afternoon in June.
I was wandering around the grassy hill at Fort Scratchley enjoyingthe fresh air and patches of blue sky after days of constant rain.
It had been a sad month, the sudden loss of a family member as well as a friend, both gone way too young.
A ray of sunshine suddenly lit everything up, it lasted for only a few seconds but it was enough to remind me that the sun, like hope and happiness, are always there, just waiting to reappear.
