  • One of Newcastle's naturally sheltered swimming spots and a truly beautiful rock pool.

    The Bogey Hole.

Hand hewn out of a wave cut rock platform by convicts in1819 for the personal use of Major Morisset.

At times the waves and swell surge over the rock ledge. At other times its a serene green pool and a haven for swimmers, snorkellers and even the family dog.

Always the same, but always different it remains a favourite swimming hole of many locals, me included.
